All through lockdown LightSpace have continued to support and interact with Grantham’s primary schools. Our Schools Work Facilitator Jennie has provided some amazing resources including online Collective Worship sessions. Pupils are returning to schools for the Spring Term but in the meantime our online activities will continue until the restrictions are lifted and schools are able to welcome visitors again.
Spring of course sees the celebration of Easter where we celebrate Jesus’ victory over death and sin. Scripture Union have created some beautiful books to help children learn all about the Easter story. Jesus Died For Me? is a poetic retelling of why Jesus died, how he rose from the dead and how he did it all for us. It features stunning line illustrations for children to colour in while reflecting on the words.
LightSpace has bought 320 books to distribute to year 3 children in Grantham. We would love it if you could donate £5 or £10 or whatever you can afford to help support this campaign.
